Wand Co., Ltd. (https://patsol.kr, hereinafter "Wand" or "PatSol") establishes the following privacy policy under the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea (개인정보 보호법) in order to protect users' personal information and rights and to handle related grievances. Amendments are announced through notices on the website (or by individual notice).

• The web and payment provisions of this policy succeed v1.0, in force from 30 September 2024.
• The MCP search input provisions take effect from 2 October 2026.
• The provisions relating to credit top-up take effect from 15 October 2026.

1. Purposes of Processing

a. Website sign-up and member management — confirming intent to join, identifying and authenticating the individual, maintaining and managing membership, preventing fraudulent use, providing notices and communications, and keeping records of grievances and disputes.

b. Handling of civil complaints — verifying identity, confirming the complaint, contacting and notifying the user, and communicating the outcome.

c. Provision of goods or services — providing services and content, payment and settlement of fees, and Korean patent search through PatSol MCP.

d. Marketing and advertising — developing new services, tailored services, event and promotional information (where consent has been given), and statistics on access frequency and usage.

2. Information Processed in MCP Patent Search

PatSol Patent Search MCP (https://mcp.wandsol.kr/mcp) is a service in which a standard MCP client such as Claude signs in with a PatSol account through OAuth and then searches patents.

• PatSol user ID
• OAuth client ID
• Tool name, country, cost, status, and time of request
• The search text the user actually enters into search_patents_by_text, and the arguments required to run the tool

Items not collected

• The full Claude conversation, memory, or conversation summaries
• Original files the user uploaded to Claude
